Dilapidation SurveyThe term ‘dilapidations’ is normally used to cover defects or disrepair which typically Tenants are required to deal with or pay to have remedied once they vacate the premises that they have leased. Dilapidations usually arise when a Tenant fails to comply with their contractual leasehold obligations.

At RS Building Consultancy, we can prepare both Interim and Terminal Schedules of Dilapidations, usually on behalf of Landlords – sometimes popularly called a dilapidation survey. We can also act on behalf of Tenants to negotiate a reduction in a Landlords claim.

In certain instances, we can provide strategic advice in respect of nullifying claims if certain criteria are met.
